How to use Palmpress coffee brewer

Similar to the AeroPress inverted method, the PalmPress allows the coffee grounds to be immersed in water longer than a pour over, so you can customize your perfect pour.

Additional Recipes

    Americano

  1. Expand the brewing cup and add 17g of finely ground coffee.
  2. Add 2oz hot water (about a minute off boil) very slowly, making sure all grounds are getting fully soaked through.
  3. Gently agitate Palmpress in a circular motion for 15 seconds so that grounds and water spin around inside the Brewing Cup.
  4. Close the Filter Cap securely by lining up markers.
  5. Flip Palmpress on top of your mug with the filter side down and press down gently and evenly until it is fully collapsed.
  6. Add 6oz of hot water to mug. Enjoy!

    Espresso

  1. Expand the brewing cup and add 17g of finely ground coffee.

    Cold Brew

  1. Add 4 level teaspoons of ground coffee.
  2. Add room temperature water. Do not exceed MAX FILL line. Stir to ensure no dry spots.
  3. Close Filter Cap and let sit on counter for 12+ hours.
  4. Set Palmpress onto mug, Filter-side down, and gently press downward.
  5. Remove Palmpress from mug - add ice. Enjoy!

Assembly & Disassembly

Metal Bowl

Disassemble: Press against a flat surface to pop the metal Bowl out.

Assemble: Press the metal Bowl into the Cap until you feel a soft click, locking the parts into place.

Metal Filter

Disassemble: Gently peel the Filter Gasket off of the Filter.

Assemble: Hold the filter so that the text etching faces you, then tuck it under the lip of the Filter Gasket until the Filter is completely inserted.

Palm Cap

Disassemble: Turn Palmpress Cap counter-clockwise.

Assemble: Turn Palmpress Cap clockwise until you feel a soft click, locking it onto the cup.

Grip Ring

Disassemble: Pull Cup lip and Grip Ring away from each other.

Assemble: Tuck Grip Ring under Cup lip, with the screw threads facing the Cup lip, and pinch the parts together.

Filter Gasket

Disassemble: Remove the Filter Gasket by pulling the tab.

Assemble: With the pour-spout of the Filter Gasket facing away from you, press the edges into the circular inset of the metal Bowl.
